Can you make RPD's and full dentures without me having to take impressions?Absolutely! All we need is Digital Scans of the upper and lower oral tissues, basically capturing everything a normal alginate impression would do. We then 3D Print your Scans in Lab into physical working models and resume construction of dentures as per usual. Using this technique eliminates the use of a custom special tray, this digital data is far more accurate also removes any risk of the alginate drying out, distortions on transit, drap marks and voids and air bubbles. Also reducing the amount of alginate used in your practice, therefore saving your business money in the long run.

What type of dental appliances can be made using the scanning method as opposed to chairside impression technique?Mostly every service we offer can be made without the need of impressions, from chrome dentures to implant reatined crowns, gumshields and bleaching trays. Most things are possible. Please dont be afraid to ask. Exceptions to this would obviously be denture repairs and additions as we'd need the current denture to be sent in. That being said, we are more than happy to produce work using impressions, and have current dental surgeries applying this type of workflow. Chairside digital scanning can play a significant role in your practice, especially in todays ongoing crisis. By using a chairside digital scanner and sending data instead of impressions your reducing time but also bypassing having to disinfect your impression prior to laboratory collection.

How will I recieve my finished case once I have sent you the digital uploads?Every Digital case will be delivered with a working model on completion, whether it is 3D printed or duplicated into stone. That is the normal laboratory proceedure for fixed and removable restorations.
